Flores de Florida

Flores de Florida is a small business focused on the floral signatures of Master Plants. My husband and I are based in south Florida and we spend time yearly in the Amazonian region of northern Peru studying traditional plant medicine with our teachers. I have been crafting flower essences from a variety of plants for a decade. I’ve studied herbalism and land stewardship through gardening with various teachers for about 13 years. I took an interest in flower essences as a form of subtle medicine work after some intense (yet beautiful) experiences with en.theo.genic plants (what we refer to as the Master Plants, or Visionary Plants). I wanted to continue bonding with them on a more frequent and integrate-able basis, so with a lot of prayer and courtship I’ve been able to personally collect many special essences. I’ve made many preparations from our local flora but it’s the Master Plants that I mention in particular that I’ve largely focused my flower essence studies on. I have found immense benefit in my communion with them, which is why I began with a wider community. The thing with essences is that they are SUBTLE and wonderfully safe, if crafted correctly. I do pride myself on making beautiful and gentle essences that are effective. while simultaneously mind-expanding and profound. Many people want to engage with these powerful plants and find experiences to be inaccessible for them for various reasons; contraindications, travel limitations, absence of integral teachers, no cultural and ceremonial anchors, difficulties with post ceremony integration. This is why this preparation is so special, because it allows folks to tap into these energies safely. We cultivate these essences from plants that are healthy and thriving, using vortexed water, in a clean glass bowl or jar. Once the flowers are cut from the plant, we allow it to infuse right under the plant it was harvested from. We work with solar & lunar energies (depending on the peak blossoming time of that particular plant), allowing the flower to infuse into the water under natural light for 3+ hours.In cases where we are working with a rare plant, we do not cut the flower from the plant but bend the flower to sit into the bowl of water.The essences that we offer are from flowers that are either wildcrafted from environmentally stable and clean locations or cultivated in the gardens we tend to.We take extra precaution with each preparation as these are energetic in their nature.It is an honor to work with these plants and flowers and we hope they serve you like they have served us!
